If you want to perform the LCD Test or check any other feature such as Color, Touch Response, Speaker etc., then you will be pleased to know that just a small procedure can make you do so. Of course, in order to apply this, you are required to open the keypad first, and then dial this code. After dialing it, a new screen will come up. This screen has title ‘LCD Test’ and contains many options in it, such as Touch, Sub Key, and Sensor etc. Selecting any particular option will start a wizard. By following this wizard, you can check if that particular feature of your Galaxy S4 is working perfectly or not. If you come out of the wizard and this screen ‘LCD Test’, then you can do so at any time by pressing right physical button.
*#0011# is secret code for Service Menu
By dialing *#12580*369# on your Galaxy S4, you can check its software and hardware information
*#0228# is the secret code to check Battery Status
The software version that your Galaxy S4 is currently running, can be checked by dialing * #1234#
Full Factory Reset can be performed with the secret code *2767*3855#
