Turn Off Chat in Facebook For Android App

Facebook app for Android provided a different experience when it's compared with browser. Some user like this features, Some user face difficulty to manage several settings. Just like to turn off chat, in browser this option is easily visible but in Facebook for Android app it's somewhat not easily available. So this post guides how to turn off chat in Facebook app.

How To Turn Off Facebook Chat on Android

1. Open Facebook app and log into your account.
2. Now, tap on Facebook’s menu button
3. Now scroll down the menu to App Settings, Tap on it.                                                                                      
                                                         
4. Now, under General Settings, you’ll see an option named Chat Availability. 
5. Uncheck this term to turn off Facebook chat in your Android phone/tablet.                                                      
   

If you want to turn on chat again you can do it simply by checking the term term Chat Availability.
